We went to eat at Tejanos in Oak Cliff. The food was great. The only bad thing was that I had really bad allergies that day. I just couldnt stop sneezing. It was like there was a cat right underneath my nose or something. I had been so wanting a Chimichanga and thats what I got. Then for desert we had cheesecake my fav. I finally got some weight watcher cookbooks now. All of a sudden I have been into cookbooks.
Saturday
We went shopping at the mall. We had to get the boys some more t-shirts and we had to finish up our mothers day shopping. While we were there we all shared some pretzel sticks and a big ole Dr Pepper. After we left the mall we headed to Target to more stuff for Mothers Day. Then It was dinner time so we headed to Chick Fila. When we got home Ryleys little friend was outside so I took the boys across the street to play with Avery. I guess a little before that is when the cold front came through and we were freezing our butts off cause I didnt realize a cold front was coming. So we played until we started to get too cold and then we headed home to eat. Avery is such a cute little girl. Finally when the boys went to bed I headed off to Wal Mart to buy groceries for our cookout on Sunday.
Sunday
Mothers Day! We took my mom out to Burger King. We were headed to I Hop but they were packed. I guess we didnt really take them out cause my dad ended up paying for everyone. David didnt care for the meal. I loved it. I love fast food breakfast but havent eaten it in a really long time cause its so unhealthy and cause I am dieting. We were the only ones there so it was great so we could relax and the kids got to play in the play area. After that we headed home, to get ready to have Dave's family over for a cookout. Our cookout turned out great. I even made a a cherry cola cake with chocolate covered cherries on top. It was so good I will have to post pics of it later. After we ate the girls watched Bridal Wars, the guys played video games and the kids played with play dough and played in Ryleys room. As it got later everyone was still here so we ordered some good ole dominos pizza and watched tv again while the guys played video games. It was very nice and relaxing. I really enjoyed myslef and had a great weekend. Hmm now what shall we do for fathers day...?
